A comparison of carbon copies of official returns received by party poll watchers to those posted on the electoral commission's website:

Voting Center Ecole Nationale Ali, in Savane Longue, Ouanaminthe. Polling places 04-34-81-04-03-5-1 through 7.

By the pollingl places' returns, Alternative senatorial candidate Gerald Jean won this voting center by 795 to 191.

By the CEP's returns, the ruling-party candidate won it 329 to 200.

The combination of fraud and miscount cost the opposition candidate 733 of 986 votes cast for the two candidates.
