Edmond Mulet at length on a variety of subjects. Near the end, she asked him what he thought of the electoral board’s waiving of the constitutional requirement that former officials running for office have financial audits approved by parliament. He said that it was not the fault of candidates that the lower house of parliament no longer existed to vote the required audits. Prohibiting their candidacies because of lack of the audit would deny these former officials their rights.
