A presentation by Eric Bloom, partner of Winston & Strawn’s Washington office, of the issues surrounding the lawsuit filed on November 2. Lawsuit filed on behalf of Haitian government and Teleco in Miami federal district court. Provides detailed documentation from Haitian bank records of embezzlement by Aristide and his accomplices, kickbacks to them from American companies, and their use of offshore front companies to divert Haiti’s money into their pockets.
