Evans Paul’s political party KID (Convention for Democratic Unity) and the People’s Party for Haiti’s Rebirth (PPRH?formerly Generation 2004, led by Claude Roumain) have formed a political alliance for the coming elections. According to this agreement, both parties have agreed to run in the elections under a new name, Alyans (Alliance Democratique – Democratic Alliance).
KID leader Paul has expressed satisfaction with the merger with PPRH to win the elections and says the new party will remain open to other political parties.
It should be pointed out that KID leader Paul is still a candidate for the presidential elections.
