Remissaint Ravix, spokesman for these former military, says that the constitution recognizes two armed forces including the army and the police. He asks the government to pay the former military what is due them. He does not rule out the possibility of the former military using their  weapons to have their demands satisfied. “We call on all military throughout the nine geographic departments to remain mobilized and not to leave their barracks,” according to Ravix who explains that he is looking for explanations on what happened in Cap-Haitien where, he says, a Haitian sergeant died under unclear circumstances.
