The population is singing and demonstrating Aristide must Go. Communique! Communique! Arisitide Alle. Min minorite an nou nan bounda ou, min minorite an nou nan bouda. (“Your so-called ‘small minority’ is on your case.”) Communique, Communique…. A Bas Aristide. Most of the police in Jacmel have given their solidarity to the students and the population.
In Port-au-Prince, the demonstrations is getting bigger. Andy Apaid and Charles Baker and other members of the 184 are in the streets with the students. Lolo, Theodore Beaubrun Jr. of Boukman Experience is also in the demonstration. Andy is giving an interview now. The students are chanting ” Trop sang coule, fok Aristide alle.” They are in Bourdon going toward Petion-Ville. The Crowd is growing.

Dear..
Lavalas has deployed scores of young boys (known as coco rats/street kids orphans) with heavy weapons in several sections of Port-au-Prince. Those kids are busy burning tires, stopping and searching private cars traveling in key parts of the city. Several car dealerships have been attacked by gangs and in some cases, they have registered significant damages. The police is not very present. The government seems to be relying increasingly on the ?chimères? and the ?coco rats? to continue the repression?.That?s all for now?.
